Sr. Product Manager - Consumer Direct Health Products
Portland, OR or Seattle, WA



Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development and ongoing oversight of innovative strategies to ensure profitable enrollment growth of various product categories.
  • Responsible for all phases of product development and management from ideation and assessment, through strategy execution, and ongoing monitoring of implementation tactics and results.
  • Accountable for the timely completion of product analyses, business case development, resource/budget acquisition, development of formal product marketing plans, senior level presentations, implementation of product changes/new products, and coordinating launch activities.
  • Develop and lead cross functional teams to evaluate new product concepts specific to product line and the Regence market; may also lead the market introduction team and monitor impact of product incorporation into overall portfolio for ongoing management.
  • Facilitate local market and/or TRG teams to evaluate existing products for consolidation and closure and manages teams that oversee product closure execution.

Qualifications:

Combine your business aptitude in understanding organizational aspects of providing and financing healthcare with the following qualifications and skills:

  • BA/BS in Business Administration or relevant field with eight years experience in a product marketing or management position in healthcare or insurance industry or equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA preferred.
  • Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communications; ability to write executive level documents and make executive level presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple, diverse and/or projects and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability, able to "think outside the box", and able to move abstract concepts to concrete actions and effective strategies.
  • Strong team player, ability to work within and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve complex and sensitive issues with diplomacy and persuasiveness.
  • Ability to operate independently to navigate organizational complexities and to obtain resources needed to move initiatives forward.
  • Strong sense of market priorities and ability to appropriately push back against group think that will negatively impact company position in market place or marketability of the portfolio.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in both direct and matrix reporting relationships, with a proven ability to select, delegate, coordinate, and motivate staff.
  • Ability to develop and manage cross divisional processes and clearly articulate complex information to achieve common goals.
