Description: The Systems Analyst is responsible for performing analysis of new and existing systems to understand the impact of proposed modifications, including input/output requirements, information flow, hardware and software requirements. Also, the incumbent is responsible for designing and executing appropriate documentation, testing, debugging and support processes in accordance with departmental policy.
Qualifications: • At least five years of mainframe programming experience is required in COBOL, MVS utilities, MVS JCL and CICS Command Level programming. • At least two years of mainframe systems analysis experience is required. • At least two years of mainframe programming experience is required in DB2 programming for applications, SDLC Methodology and Change Control software. • A working familiarity with Easytrieve and/or other computer languages, including ISPF, is preferred. • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field is required. • Proficiency in LAN, Intermediate Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio is highly preferred. • Must demonstrate proficiency in Business Writing, Project Management, Time Management and Conflict Resolution and Teamwork concepts and practice.
