Description: The Associate Health Actuary under the direction of the Director of Actuarial is responsible for the creation, development and maintenance of all Actuarial models, is responsible for the applications of the models and the monitoring of their effectiveness, and provides professional certification.
Qualifications: • Must be a member of the Academy of Actuaries and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and have five years of experience in health actuarial work. • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in mathematics or statistics or a major where a strong mathematical background is necessary. • Must have a working knowledge of SAS. • Strong P.C. skills required - which include Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
